The entry fee for Guadalupe River State Park is $7 per person over the age of 13. There is free admission for people ages 12 and under.

This is a popular park that often reaches capacity, even for day use. If you do not have a reservation you may be turned away at the gate.

Campsites
Walk-in campsites with water are $15 per night. There is a walk between the campsites and the parking area. The sites have a picnic table, a tent pad, and a fire ring with a grill. There are restrooms in the vicinity that have water.
Campsites with electricity are $20 – $24 per night. These sites have a picnic table, a tent pad, a lantern post, and a fire ring with a grill. They have water and restrooms with showers are available in the vicinity.

There is an amphitheater available for $40 per day.

There are bathrooms provided throughout the park. Restrooms in the camping loops have showers.
Hiking Trails
There are many trails in the park. Most of the trails are quite short. Some of the trails allow horseback riding.
Painted Bunting Trail is 3.1 miles and the longest trail in the park.
What is there to do at Guadalupe River State Park?
You can fish in the river. Fishing licenses are not required for fishing from the shores of a state park.
Swimming is allowed in the river.
Canoe or kayak in the river. The Guadalupe River State Park Paddling Trail is five miles long and starts in the park.

Dogs at Guadalupe River State Park
Guadalupe River State Park allows dogs into the park. Dogs must be on a leash in public areas of the park including on hiking trails. Owners must clean up after their dogs.
