Devil’s Sinkhole State Natural Area is famous for being home to a large colony of Mexican free-tailed bats. It is NOT a state park and does not have all of the amenities of a state park.
There is a giant sinkhole and cavern. You can only go as part of a tour, which much be reserved in advance.

Access to the area is only with a tour, which requires a reservation. Bat flight tours are up to $14 for adults. Morning tours are up to $20 for adults.

There is no camping, nor overnight stays. Access to the park is only by tour.
Rocksprings, Texas is nine miles away. It has hotels and guest houses.

There are no hiking trails in the park open to the public. You must go as part of a tour.

The main thing to do is to see the bats. There is also a giant cavern. Take a tour to see the bats in flight.
