Café del Pintor is located on one of the major streets in the historic area. If you are not sure where you want to eat there are a lot of restaurants in the area so you can walk past and see which one looks good to you.

The restaurant has giant murals painted on the walls inside the restaurant, and they show iconic things about Valparaiso.

I thought the price was a really good deal for the quality of the food. Restaurants in Chile can be surprisingly expensive, and this one wasn’t. Especially if you stick to the menu of the day combinations they offered.

They offered a set meal where you pick your soup, entree, and dessert. All of the options looked good. The soup was a vegetable soup.

There was reineta, which is a type of fish, with lemon sauce and mushroom risotto.

There was a dessert of a mousse made out of manjar. Manjar is similar to sweetened condensed milk or dulce de leche.
